Biographical Sketch

Adam C. Powell, Ph.D., an abstract artist and photographer. His artwork is influenced by his professional training as an economist. Dr. Powell creates parameterized works where the viewer can adjust the image on the screen. He also paints acrylics that use shapes and colors to drive emotional responses. The friendships he has developed over the years have taken him to all corners of the United States and Asia. While traveling, he uses photography to put a human face on places.
